At the bird feeder this afternoon came a first visit of a nice small bird with a blue head. I ran to get the camera and the bird book, but by that time he was gone. According to the book it was a MacGillivray’s Warbler, not an uncommon bird in this area. I hope he will be back.

Heard the owls a couple of days ago, but at some distance in the forest. Still hoping to get swallows to my bird houses.
