This flowering bush have pleasured me for a couple of weeks now as I drive by. Today I just had to stop and take a close look.
At the parking lot at Clayton’s Trail Bay Mall in Sechelt, BC.
If you know the name, let me know, it is very nice to see this early spring. The shrub is pruned low, and seem to benefit from severe pruning.
The leaves are nowhere to be seen yet. The green bush around is a Bay Laurel type of brush, not a tree. Each flower is made up of many tiny trumpet looking flower petals, pink and glorious this time of the year.
Spring is nearer ! And yes, I have seen two mosquito. No bites yet.
